Festival vibe ideas for half term
Festival season is upon us and it's a bank holiday weekend too. How about taking a look at this week's round up of activity ideas to help beat the boredom?
- This year, Hay Festival has gone digital. From 18 to 31 May, their virtual doors are wide open as they bring together interactive events from over 100 award-winning writers, global policy makers, historians, pioneers & innovators.
- Are you ready to Go Wild this June with the Wildlife Trust? Join in the fun and get planning your Random Acts of Wildness for June now!
- Don't forget it's still Mental Health Awareness week 18 to 24 May and this year's theme is 'Kindness'. Perhaps you can download and colour these special designs and thank you pictures to show your gratitude for those working hard to support our mental health?
- If you need some support, and would like to try to build resilience, there are resources including the Coronavirus Anxiety Workbook available from The Wellness Society.
- We had fun playing the Doodle Challenge this week. It's harder than it looks. Give it a go!
- Our team in Chesterfield gave a big Beat the Street thank you to the NHS this week - check out the video here
- Keep an eye on our social media for upcoming health tip videos from Dr William Bird.
- Plus find lots more boredom busting advice and activities to keep you and your family happy on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages and on the Beat the Bug website.
