Sing the phonics song

Read back your sight words that you wrote down yesterday, how quickly can you read them all?
Visit and choose a game to practise your blending and segmenting, one of Kevin’s favourite games is picnic on Pluto; he really likes the noises the alien makes when you read the words correctly.
Challenge: When selecting sounds to practise make sure that you choose two letters one sounds.

Write about your ladybird house
Yesterday you built a ladybird house, today you need to write a sentence describing your house, what did you use to make it, what colour is it? Don’t forget to use finger spaces, capital letters and full stops.

Challenge: Write 3 or 4 sentences. Can you use the words first, next, after that and finally to describe how you made your ladybird house.

Listen to the doubles rap- , you can sing along today!
Play hit the button doubles-
Once you have clicked on the game select doubles, then select doubles to 10, the game will give you a number at the top to double and you have to click the answer, but beware the game is timing you!
Challenge: The same as above but you need to select numbers 5-15 or 10-20.

Story time

Ask somebody to read you a story, it could be somebody in your house, you could ask grandma/granddad to read you a story over the phone/face time. On YouTube there are celebrities like David Walliams readings stories too.

Expressive Art and Design

Listen to the song “If I were a minibeast”
you can dance and sing along if you like. Have a think about which minibeast you would be if you could choose, would it be a creepy crawly spider or a smooth slithery snake? Draw a picture and write a sentence explaining which minibeast you would be and why? If you want a challenge then you can write 2 or more sentences.
