PE Vision Statement
We want all children at Hasland Infant and Nursery School to experience excellent physical education, school sport and physical activity that will lead to lifelong participation in healthy and active opportunities, and for them to be the best they can be.
We aim to support and develop children’s physical development and allow them to learn and build on fundamental movement skills from Nursery to Year 2. Our intention is for them to foster a love of physical activity, develop control, coordination, agility, strength and balance while having fun and encouraging natural talent. Since embarking on delivering REAL PE in our school, we also aim to develop each child’s social, cognitive, personal and creative skills.
We want them to enjoy an active lifestyle, built on the development of a healthy body, a healthy mind and becoming physically confident in a way which supports their prolonged health and fitness.
