How to apply for admission

Hasland Infant School admissions

In accordance with Derbyshire County Council policy we admit children into Reception in the September following their 4th birthday (i.e. Children whose fifth birthday falls between 1st September and 31st August).

At Hasland Infant School we admit 100 children into our Reception classes each year. Parents must apply to Derbyshire County Council for a place in Reception early in the Autumn Term in the year before their child is due to start school. Applications can be made via the Derbyshire County Council website or by telephone. Information is sent out from school to the parents of children on our waiting list mid-November.

It is helpful for our future planning if you could also complete a school application which is available from the school office or via our website here.

Apply online at www.derbyshire.gov.uk

By telephone : call Derbyshire County Council on 08456 058 058.

Alternatively call the Admissions and Appeals Team on 01629 537499 for a paper application form (Form AF5) to be sent to you.

Mid term applications

From September 2013 any parent wishing to make an in-year or mid-term application can do so via Derbyshire County Council or to the school direct. Please see the guidance notes in the 'changing schools' section at www.derbyshire.gov.uk/admissions

Hasland Nursery School admissions
